BIO

William Baranda is a Chicago based Filipino-American singer songwriter, producer, and actor. Challenging music standards with his dynamic folk-grunge sound, William Baranda delivers daring and emotionally charged performances that leave a lasting impression.

Driven to create an emotional and relatable journey through his music, William draws inspiration from 80s and 90s ballads while crafting a fresh, modern sound. Through relatable storytelling and raw emotion, his music seeks to shed light on life's struggles, growth, and hope with authentic lyrics and memorable performances.

In 2019, he independently released his debut single, Think of Her, followed by his debut album in 2021 at just 18 years old. However, shortly after this milestone, William had to step away from music to focus on life’s struggles. Despite his hardship, William continued to expand his artistic pursuits into acting, appearing in national commercials and the hit TV show Chicago Fire.

Now, going into 2026, William is gearing up for a highly anticipated return to music. With new collaborations, solo projects, and his upcoming band, Clocking Out, he continues to push creative boundaries and explore new genres.
