BIO
William Baranda is a Filipino-American singer-songwriter, producer, and actor from Chicago. Influenced by a wide range of artists—including Paul Anka, Queen, Michael Jackson, Jim Croce, and Carole King—William blends grunge and folk sounds with emotionally raw storytelling to create a unique and captivating experience.
In 2019, he independently released his debut single, Think of Her, followed by his debut album in 2021 at just 18 years old. After having to step away from music to focus on personal matters, he expanded his artistic pursuits into acting, appearing in national commercials and the hit TV show Chicago Fire.
Now, in 2025, William is gearing up for a highly anticipated return to music. With new collaborations, solo projects, and his upcoming band, Clocking Out, he continues to push creative boundaries and explore new genres. Through themes of love, heartbreak, and the intensities of life, William strives to forge a deep, electric-emotional connection with his audience by sharing his story.
